Smileat jars, 100% organic baby food
What are baby snacks?
At Smileat, when it comes to organic and sugar-freefood, we also have convenient snacks to take with you at all times. From gluten-free cereal rolls with pumpkin as the main ingredient to pouches of various fruits with no added sugar or organic cookies. Always, as is typical of our brand, quality organic food.
Feeding our children in a healthy way is super important for their health and, above all, for their education.
Snacks are complementary products, not substitutes, for the main meals of the day. At Smileat, we have different snacks:
Organic Smilitos, organic strawberry and banana Smilitos, fruit pouches, organic multi-cereal rolls, organic spelt and fruit cookies, or the new TRIBOO fruit snacks, made from 100% fruit.
They are ideal for complementing your little one's snacks or making that hurried moment easier.
What are TRIBOO cereals?
Cereals 'for children' should be cereals without added sugars and made with quality ingredients. Organic ingredients that provide benefits to children; that is, providing protein or fiber, for example, and not just simple flours with minimal nutrients.
At Smileat, we have innovated to launch a new brand, TRIBOO, where, in addition to fruit snacks, there are also cereals. Cereals with innovative ingredients that provide fiber and protein and do not contain added sugars. All the sweetness comes from ingredients like chicory root fiber, which is rarely present in conventional cereals.
From what age can my baby eat snacks or cereals?
The only snacks classified as baby food are the pouches (fruit pouches), and they can be consumed from 6 months onwards. There are various flavors:
- Assorted Fruit Pouch +6 months
- Strawberry and Banana Fruit Pouch +6 months
- Avocado and Blueberry Fruit Pouch +6 months
- Cherry, Acai, and Amaranth Fruit Pouch +8 months
- Almond Milk, Mango, and Pineapple Fruit Pouch +9 months
- Almond Milk, Cocoa, and Strawberry Fruit Pouch +9 months
- Yogurt and Raspberry Fruit Pouch +9 months
- Yogurt and Oat Pouch +9 months.
The rest of the snacks do not have a specific age to start with since it has a lot to do with the development of each child. But we'll give you some tips so you can get an idea of when your child can start:
- Smilitos and muffins: Your little one can start enjoying them if they handle solids well, use the pincer grasp, sit up independently, and show interest in food. The texture of these products is soft, and when sucked, they dissolve in the mouth. If teething, they're perfect for biting and soothing discomfort.
- Finally, TRIBOO fruit snacks and TRIBOO cereals are aimed at slightly older children, around 18 months or so, when the child can handle solids without assistance. The development of each little one in managing solids can vary greatly.
-
TRIBOO Fruit Snacks: each piece has a diameter of approximately 2.5 cm and a soft texture designed for chewing, not for dissolving. It's important to be attentive when giving it for the first time to a child, especially when they have mastered chewing. You can also try giving it in smaller pieces cut by hand.
- TRIBOO cereals: made from wheat flour, chicory root fiber, chickpea flour, green lentil flour, and date powder. They have a ring shape, approximately 2 cm in diameter, and a hard texture that softens quickly in milk or yogurt. You can give them in various ways: dry once they have learned to chew, with milk or yogurt, they are delicious even mixed with fruit or mashed.
