Smileat is a Spanish start-up hat was born in 2015, founded by two entrepreneurs, Alberto and Javi, with the vision of revolutionizing the world of infant nutrition with 100% organic and sustainable alternatives.
Our history
It was the year 2015 in Madrid, and Alberto, who had not yet turned 30 and had just become an uncle for the first time, received a call from someone very close who had been diagnosed with a disease that really sucks.
At that moment, his life changed, and his mind began to wonder,"Could it be because of what we eat?"
During a visit outside of Spain, there were countless healthy alternatives for the little ones, especially focused on organic food. So, he called Javier, his lifelong friend from school, and they set out to explore healthy alternatives for the little ones in Spain.
Our history

Our commitment
In that year 2015, while there were already organic foods for adults, it was mission impossible to find something of the same standard in the children's aisle of supermarkets.

Smileat is B CORP
We are the first B Corp certified company in organic baby food in Spain.
B Corp is a movement made up of companies from different countries that work with a single objective: We use our company to create positive impact. Unlike companies that only pursue economic goals, B Corps meet high standards of social and environmentalimpact, public transparency and legal accountability.
